Step aboard and travel back in time. The Grande Dame is a magnificent ocean liner from a bygone era, still radiating the grandeur of its past. This historical theme is beautifully preserved throughout the hotel. At the check-in desk, you'll be greeted by staff in classic uniforms and receive your personal copy of the "Ocean Post," a newspaper detailing everything you need to know for your stay. As you explore, you'll discover captivating photographs showcasing the ship in its glorious heyday. The rooms are classic. While the beds are very comfortable, the rooms are spacious but not very luxury (for today's standards!). Don't forget to take a tour to get to know more about the history, the upper decks, the machine room etc. It's very fun for the entire family to roam and explore the ship. The ship hosts will tell you everything you want to know about the ball rooms, the bow and bridge.

This place offers a unique experience of being in a real museum ship. If you have never been on a cruise ship, but have always dreamed of it, this is a great opportunity to feel like you are on a cruise without being afraid of sea motion. Be sure to take a tour of the ship and learn its history. It's very interesting and beautiful. The staff deserves special attention; the people who work there love this place. Especially thanks to everyone who conducted the excursion and told interesting moments from the history of the ship.

A very enjoyable and novel experience, staying on this old cruise ship. The staff were in uniform, there were pictures on the wall showing it's history. We were lucky and got a surprise upgrade, getting a cabin with portholes looking out over the water. The room was lovely with some period decor, but it was also very clean and comfortable. We'll certainly have happy memories of our stay there! The ship was a bit of a maze - we were given a map so had fun, but did still get a bit lost and confused at times.

Memorable experience aboard the SS Rotterdam, with beautiful views of the city, walking distance to the Fenix. We had a very short stay in Rotterdam and loved every moment of this fascinating city. We dined aboard the ship with sunset views, and walked to the Fenix museum for an enjoyable visit. The free shuttle to the metro makes it even easier to get around.
